Juniors

We welcome and encourage our junior members at Shrewsbury. Whether a beginner or advanced, there will be something for you here.

We have coaches and leaders with the right qualifications and safeguarding checks to ensure your development and safety while on the water.

We have sessions and events that are just for juniors, and we have mixed age and ability trips that allow learning from older peers.

Come along and give us a go, using our fleet of junior kayaks.

We suggest 10 years old as being an age that can cope well with the boats and the river, but if you are younger but still keen, then please get in touch and we can see what we can do.
