PURPOSE AND ROLE OF THE COMMITTEE
The Club's Committee is responsible for the management of the Club, from ensuring the needs of the membership is met through to managing the finances and ensuring good governance regarding decisions made. The Committee meets at least 6 times a year, usually monthly over the summer months. The minutes of all Committee meetings can be viewed by members here:
The Committee is made up of 15 people with the following clear roles. Each of the roles in described in a 'job description', copies of which are shared below. Any member over the age of 16 is able to be nominated and seconded for one of the roles on the Committee, which is elected by the Membership at the Annual General Meeting held in Spring each year.
