Chris Humphries is running a series of multi-day open canoe and kayak events over the summer. The locations will be advised nearer the time, but will be on placid up to Grade 1 rivers.

Numbers limited to 6 people. Attendees that book on will be contacted by Chris to firm up details nearer the time.

Attendees responsible for sorting own kit, which is available to hire from the Club. Please email mailto:equipmentofficer@shrewsburycanoeclub.org if you need to borrow kit, which is then booked and paid for through the website. 

Chris will advise campsite etc in due course, which will need to be booked by each attendee.

You will need an open canoe or touring kayak capable of carrying your camping equipment for the weekend. N.B. These are advance notice dates of proposed trips saved in my diary. It is possible that some dates might change if I find a weekend suitable for a two estuary weekend in the same area, so a river journey weekend might change as I’m sure that you will appreciate that the suitable tides can’t be changed to another weekend. If a second coach/leader joins the trip it is possible that additional places might become available.
