The annual Club trip to the River Dart is being organised by Simon Pond. There are 20 people already booked to attend, with 6 spaces remaining available to book.
Simon will be travelling down on Friday morning. I'm hoping to do some grade 4 rivers on the Friday. This will be a peer trip day, not for novice padders.
Most of the club arrives Friday evening. We are staying at Powdermills Bunkhouse. https://www.spirit-of-adventure.com/accommodation/
This is a tidy bunkhouse, so dormitories etc.
On the Saturday and Sunday, I will put club leaders hat on and lead a group on the Dart, loop and lower to Buckfastleigh. If others wish to do more challenging rivers, as a peer trip, I have no issue.

On the Sunday we will probably just do the loop.
The cost will include accommodation (whether in the bunk house or camping) breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning. I will get the ingredients, we collectively cook and clean it up afterwards.
Saturday evening, I'll book us into The Plume of Feathers, in Princetown.http://theplumeoffeathersdartmoor.co.uk
I'll take one for the team, and give it a test run on the Friday evening!
The bunkhouse sleeps 26, I'm limiting the group to 26. If folks wish to sleep in camper vans etc, that's fine, but I will not be increasing the 26 number. It makes for comfortably sized groups on river.
The Dart is grade 3. You should be comfortable on Jackfield and probably tried Mile End Mill. We will have swimmers, but after every event there is a long stretch of flat water to reunite swimmers with boats and paddles.
