Dave B is planning a Sea kayak trip down the menai straits with swift water/surfing on the section between the bridges. Not suitable for a first sea trip unless you have ww experience.  Weather forecast is  broadly for winds from the south at force 2-3 which should not cause any major problem. NB this trip will involve a shuttle.  Rendezvous: 1000 on saturday  at Bangor Services LL57 4BG, just off the A55 where it crosses the A5.  We can then decide whether to have caernarfon or the old Mermaid pub as the take out before driving to the take out to dump one or 2 vehicles and then drive to  trwyn penrhyn to launch.
