Nick Morrall and Grant McKelvie are organising a trip to the Nene WW Centre on Sat 11 September. Its an afternoon session from 2.30 till 5.30.

The Nene is an artificial WW course, with grade 2/3 water to play on. Plenty of information about the venue at www.northamptonactive.com.

This is BOTH a CLUB TRIP and PPER TRIP.

The Club Trip which will be led is currently limited to 8 participants, however if more coaches/leaders are available then this will be increased. If the Club Trip bookings get filled up then please book onto the waiting list.

The Peer Trip is not limited to numbers. As usual, a peer paddler is responsible for their own decisions and safety on the water, however as usual when paddling as a group there will be a couple of paddlers around to help reunite paddlers with boats if a swim is taken. An ability to paddle at Jackfield is probably a good benchmark to enjoy the day.

It is a 3 hour session on the Saturday from 2.30pm till 5.30pm, so getting there about an hour before. 

You will need to book your place directly with NorthamptonActive to come along. There are currently places available on their website (I booked this morning...). The price is £15 per head.

If you need club kit Grant will open the containers at 9am on the 11th September.
