Rendezvous at  1630 at Aberamffra, just inland from the barmouth railway bridge on a big bend in the road with a layby on the bend to park in.  Timings will be roughly :

Sunset/moonrise1615

Arrive and unload boats 1630

launch for paddle up to Penmaenpool and maybe beyond:1715

On the water at Penmaenpool  for return journey:2040

Local HW at Penmaenpool: 2045

ETA Aberamffra: 2230

Depart Aberamffra for Shrewsbury:2300

Pre-requisite:  sea-kayaks only and some previous experience of  sea paddling.  If you need a club boat it is up to you to book it and to arrange collection/transport/return ( keyholders details are in the members area of the website).

Kit list: seakayak, deck, BA, paddle, suitable clothing (including warm  headgear and gloves or pogies) and footwear, headtorch, flask snacks and spare warm layer to go in boat, whistle.
