A weekend of sea kayaking skills development, for competent paddlers who want to work towards their Sea Kayak Award, Coastal Sea Kayak Award or a leader qualification.

Cost:

• £60 per person, assuming 6 people book
• Discount available for club coaches
• Club may contribute towards cost under the usual reimbursement policy

Suitable for established paddlers who:

• are happy to paddle in force 3 or 4 winds, overfalls and tide races
• are familiar with assisted and self rescue techniques
• have some knowledge of tidal planning
• want to work towards sea kayak award / coastal sea kayak award / leader qualification

Notes:

• any awards achieved during the weekend or at future events will require an additional registration fee
• there may be parking costs at put in and take out
• you need to arrange your own accommodation, food etc
• you need to sort out your own kit
