Placid Paddle - the Winter Challenge - Crew Green to Kidderminster

Nick Morrall is organising a winter placid, calm water paddle challenge from Crew Green to Kidderminster. An all ability, any craft paddle spread out over a number of days across the winter season. Paddling will always be subject to weather and river conditions - any change of plans will be emailed to the registrants.

Day 1 - 4 December - Crew Green to Montford Bridge

Day 2 - 18 December - Montford Bridge to Shrewsbury

Day 3 - 5 February - Shrewsbury to Atcham

Day 4 - 5 March - Atcham to Ironbridge

Day 5 - TBC - Ironbridge to Bridgnorth

Day 6 - TBC - Bridgnorth to Kidderminster

This is Day 2 - Montford Bridge to Shrewsbury

Paddlers are welcome to join one or more of the days, in craft that suits them. It is a Club Trip led by Nick, all abilities welcome.

As its winter, it is likely to be cold. So appropriate warm clothing should be worn, together with a BA. Other necessary kit will be craft dependant, but generally some form of paddle is handy. Welcome also to bring safety equipment, shelters, etc.
