Dave B is planing a peer trip  (club trip if other coaches/leaders can come) on the Dee from below Town Falls at Llangollen to the Boat at Erbistock on Saturday 1st January.   an excellent run on  technically low grade ww (grade 2 (3)) but at a good winter level. Suitable for paddlers with some experience of moving water at The mIll or Jackfield or similar.  Not suitable for first timers on moving water.

The  Rendezvous will be at the services on the Gledrid roundabout on the A5 just south of chirk where the road comes in from St Martins.  We will send as small a party as possible to the take out to drop off cars and then shuttle drivers  to join the rest of the group at the put in which will be from the Sarah Ponsonby car park on the north side of the river in Llan' just below the Town Bridge.

Kit List: ww boat, air bags, deck, paddle, helmet, suitable clothing and footwear, flask/ lunch and if you have them:  first aid, splits, small shelter ( I will bring an 8 man shelter).
