Nick Morrall and Grant McKelvie are running this Jackfield session targeted at Junior paddlers who have spent some time paddling with the Club at Frankwell over the summer and wish to progress to moving water. Also suitable for more experienced junior paddlers who will get the opportunity to surf the bigger waves and more advanced ferry gliding, etc.

The objective is to get our younger paddlers together on the water to help create the peer groups of the future.

This event is restricted for booking for Juniors only until Friday 26th Aug when it will be opened up to additional club paddlers. Junior paddlers have been provided with the booking code separately, but please contact me if you are a junior wishing to book on and have not got the code.

Time is 'on the water' - please arrive 15 minutes prior to get kit sorted. If you are planning to arrive later please let us know at secretary@shrewsburycanoeclub.org - you should be able to join in when you arrive.

Meet will be at Telford Canoe Club site, access code to be advised prior to the event. Parking at the site is £2.50 PER PERSON payable on booking.

Please book on each attendee individually.

Required kit of boat, air bags, paddle, spray deck, helmet and buoyancy aid provided by the Club for £7.50 charge, payable at booking. Attendees must arrange own transport of boat to location, which can be collected on a Monday evening at Frankwell, and returned prior to the next Mon evening.

Please bring non-cotton clothes for paddling in, footwear for paddling in (essential), water proof jacket and warm change of clothes.
