Stephen Thomas and Grant McKelvie are running this Mile End Mill session targeted at Junior paddlers who have spent some time paddling with the Club at Frankwell over the summer and wish to progress to moving water. Also suitable for more experienced junior paddlers who will get the opportunity to surf the bigger waves and more advanced ferry gliding, etc, and the rock drop if water levels are suitable.

The objective is to get our younger paddlers together on the water to help create the peer groups of the future.

This event is restricted for booking for Juniors only until Friday 9th September when it will be opened up to additional club paddlers. Junior paddlers have been provided with the booking code separately, but please contact me if you are a junior wishing to book on and have not got the code.

Time is 'on the water' - please arrive 15 minutes prior to get kit sorted.

Meet at Mile End Mill, Llangollen at 9.15. You MUST go into the MEM reception and book on for the day and pay your £7 paddling fee. There is ANPR on site and you will be fined if you do not. 

Please book on each attendee individually.

Required kit of boat, air bags, paddle, spray deck, helmet and buoyancy aid provided by the Club for £7.50 charge, payable at booking. Attendees must arrange own transport of boat to location, which can be collected from the containers on Friday 16 September at 18.30. Please contact me on 07837 963160 if you require club kit.

Please bring non-cotton clothes for paddling in, ideally a wet or dry suit, footwear for paddling in (essential), water proof jacket and warm change of clothes.
