This is now a paddle Shrewsbury to Atcham. Meet Atcham 0930. p>Paddle off the excess of the festive period with New Year G1/2 WW paddle. Hoping for the Banwy or the Lower Dee river levels depending.

Open to anyone who would like to paddle low grade white water in a kayak or canoe, can paddle in a straight line, and is able to paddle for up to 3 hours. Pub or cafe when off the river to share stories and talk rubbish.

You will need a boat with air bags, paddle, BA, helmet, spray deck, a drink and some lunch ideally. You'll need a wet suit or dry suit, and a wet weather jacket to wear over a wet suit. A change of clothes is also important. If you need to borrow equipment please let me know on 07837 963160 and book it out and pay for the hire via our website. I will open the containers on evening of 6th January for you to collect what you need - you will be responsible for getting it to the river and back again.

This trip will be subject to river levels, Nick and I will make a call the day prior if its looking too high for a G1/2 paddle.
