Sea Kayaking Foundation Weekend in Anglesey 2nd & 3rd September 2023

Open to kayakers who have had some experience in sea kayaks and are confident at capsize drill. Skills weekend with rescues/towing etc. Useful for those wanting to go on the Sea Kayaking Summer Isles trip later in September (info of which to be posted shortly).

Lead by Charlie Miller, BC WM Shropshire Area Coaching Representative

6 places available. Based at Anglesey Outdoors, Holyhead. Fee payable of £20 to cover Charlie Miller’s fuel etc.  £20 per person.

There may also be an intermediate group lead by David Southern. Max 6 people.

You will need to book your own accommodation.

KIT: you would need to have or hire a sea kayak and have full appropriate kit. Wetsuit or dry suit, buoyancy aid, paddle(s), helmet, spray deck, wet boots or similar, extras could be a pump, tow line, VHF radio
