Dave Coan and I are running  a club trip  on the mawddach estuary this coming sunday.  Sea kayaks only.  Previous experience of paddling in open water and in bouncy conditions essential!

Meet at aberamffra  for 1745 just inland from barmouth railway bridge where the road sweeps round a big curve by a harbour area.  park in a layby on the bend.   Park close up to each other so that we can all fit.

all usual sea paddlng gear plus headtorch, hot drink

timings should be roughly as follows:

1430 Flood tide starts to flow eastwards at barmouth
1634 moonrise  (full moon, 8.6m tide at Liverpool)
1707 sunset
1745 rendezvous at aberamffra inland side of Barmouth railway bridge
1830 launch at Aberamffra
2030 arrive penmaenpool
2100 Penmaenpool high water. Latest time to Start return journey.
2300  arr at aberamffra
