Toby Roberts is plotting (a requested) Intermediate led WW trip on Bank Holiday Monday 8th May 2023.
This is for the intermediate white water paddler and is a lead trip. Not a coached session.
SKILLS:
Paddlers must have paddled on Grade 3 previously or have been on a couple of our intro to WW sessions on the Severn at Jackfield or the Dee at Llangollen. All paddlers must know how to capsize and swim in a river setting and know basic strokes and braces a. a roll is preferred but not essential.

Currently limiting group size to me and 5 led paddlers . If another coach/leader wants to tags along I can increase numbers- so add yourself to the waiting list if the trip is full and you are interested.

Cost is £22 with a reduction for BCU/Canoe wales membership
The price provides onsite: car parks, toilets, changing rooms and showers, enhanced first aid cover from appropriately qualified first aiders at the centre.

Meeting changed at the centre for shuttle organization at 1000ish to the lower where there will be an additional car park fee (we will try to minimise the number of car movements)

KIT:
Paddlers must have; a suitable WW kayak, Paddle, Buoyancy aid, Spray deck Helmet, Wetsuit and cagoule as a minimum (Dry suits preferred but not required), suitable footwear, Food and drink, Whistle, Throwline and Knife (if you know how to use them).
Any boat bookings will need to be arranged in advance as i am not travelling past the containers on the day.
