M&M (Matt and Marc and Grant) are running an Intermediate club trip with the intention to paddle grade 3 White Water in North Wales on 23rd or 24th September. Rainfall dependant!
We Prefer to paddle somewhere natural! We will be looking at rivers for example; Conwy/Llugwy/Prysor/Dulas. Failing that lower Tryweryn. Failing that the Dee. We will put out further details to registrants on the Thursday/Friday before the trip.
All paddlers must have paddled on grade 3 before and are happy to paddle on Serpents tail or Lower Tryweryn. All paddlers must know how to capsize and swim, as a minimum. A roll is preferred but not essential.
Paddlers must have; a suitable WW kayak and Paddle, Buoyancy aid, Spray deck Helmet, Wetsuit and cagoule as a minimum (Dry suits preferred), suitable footwear, Food and drink, Whistle, Throwline and Knife.
