SHREWSBURY CANOE CLUB PADDLE  

TRIP INFORMATION: shugborough loop is an approx ten-mile circular paddle starting at a lovey farm shop & café, where easy parking is available. The paddle starts on the Staffordshire & Worchester canal & then swops to the river sow, a small twisting river usually with some moderate flow, before joining the canal again & back to the café (for afternoon tea!)  

Suitable for any paddler that can paddle ten miles & negotiate moderate moving water, canoe, sup or kayak welcome, properly not suitable for sea kayak style. If you’re unsure if this paddle is for you, please ask Del or Dave 

WHEN: Saturday 7 October.  

TIME: meet at 09:00 am for first breakfast in the cafeteria, this intitules you to FREE parking, otherwise there is a small charge for parking, on the water time 10:00am

SUGGESTED KIT: boat, paddle(s) BA, clothing & spare suitable for the weather, personal first aid kit, food & drink for the day (at least second breakfast/lunch & biscuits!) shelter & throw line if you have them
