So its Spring and time for a traditional 3D paddle, suitable for sea kayaks, kayaks and canoes. we will be paddling the river Trent. Those who have done the Shug Bourgh loop will be familiar with the  Trent.

The Trent is the third longest river in the UK  but we are not paddling all of it just a section 14 miles on the water with a small drag/ trolley or moan at the end to get to the Cars.

ok so meet at the Wolseley Arms car park at 9:30 am , their will be  a Car shuttle so prepare to car share and we will need cars both ends.

you will need Boat, Ba, either sun hat or rain hat, suitable clothing ( cag/ dry trousers/ wet suit /dry suit, personal first aid kit. 2nd or 3rd breakfast , lunch and hot drinks and cold drinks.

Spare clothing would be good in a dry bag ( waterproof bag) 

ok so if you paddle in a straight line for 14 miles this trip is for you,  no major hazards bar the get out is a tad higher than the water line, and the flow can sometimes at speed if river is high. 

We are parking at a pub so the usual rules apply aka stay for a drink or a meal afterwards.
