This is a gentle 9 miles round trip on the River Sow and Staffordshie and Worcestershire canal, suitable for all crafts and it's a hell of a work out in playboats, so best for sup / canoe / kayak.

Lunch: Bring food and water

Cream tea: hopefully finish in time for cafe cream teas

Kit: Buoyancy aid, paddle, appropriate warm paddle clothing and footwear, sun hat, sun cream. And spare clothing - if you fall in everyone will help you and no one will laugh (... pause ... probably not laugh)

Club kit: available Friday evening 13 May if you let me know, from 6pm to 6 30pm

Kids: open to kids if they bring adult supervision

• Launch fee: around £2 or £3 or a breakfast at the CAFE yummy *so come at 9 for breakfast pre paddle or 9:20 if not having breakfast.
