Join us for a fun Shrewsbury Canoe Club time trial!
Open to all paddlers and boats (white water, sea kayak, open canoe, racing, SUP, polo etc) with a choice of 2.5km and 5km courses.We'll orgainse a rough handicap, setting the slowest boats off first with the aim of everyone finishing close together. First boats off at 0930 so that everyone is back home in plenty of time for Sunday lunch.

This will be a peer paddle as you will need to be able to self rescue if no one is close enough to help out.
You'll need a boat, paddle, bouyancy aid, suitable paddling clothing depending on the weather and a change of clothes for afterwards.
Free for club members with their own boats and paddling kit. £4 entry fee for non-members and/or boat hire.
Changing available in the cricket pavilion plus tea and cake afterwards.
If there is demand then future events will be organised over the autmun and winter to track your paddling fitness as the intake of mince pies increases/decreases before/after the Christmas period.Any questions please email racing@shrewsburycanoeclub.org
