We are planning to organise another trip through the Dudley Tunnels and want to gauge interest from members. Actual dates will depend on booking availability and leaders.

Paddling in a round trip totalling about 9 miles with 2 short portages. Underground for about 4 miles through the Dudley limestone tunnels and the Netherton tunnel.We hope to be able to visit the main chamber at the Dudley tunnels site as well as the tunnel itself.

Good for all types of boat and for all paddlers (except claustrophobes!) able to go in a straight line and to paddle for about 9 miles with breaks but a minimum age of 10 y.o. for solo paddlers. Anyone from 10y.o. to 12y.o. paddling solo must be accompanied by a parent or other adult equipped and able to deliver a tow if necessary.

Everybody on this trip must be club members with up to date membership on the day of the paddle.

Cost is usually about £10 per head to cover access to the Dudley Tunnels plus club boat hire per boat if required.
