This is a Level 3 Qualification, If your existing Cert runs out soon then please consider this. You do not need to be a coach to attend.

Shaun Baker will be running the 16 hour first aid course over the weekend of the 5th and 6th of October

This course is £70 which has been discounted for members of SCC.

The course is suitable and recognized by Paddle UK for the pre-requisite for most of the coach / leader qualifications.

The course will offer practical 1st aid applications for people involved in paddle sport and other outdoor activity. 

The course venue will be Hanwood Village Hall

Please book on for what we're sure will be a highly valuable course. There are only 12 places available so please book early to prevent disappointment

This course will cover all of the required aspects of first aid but the intention is to utilize as many paddling/outdoor scenarios as possible. 

Two weeks before the course he will send out some light pre-read material to help get through the theory input so that we can spend maximum time doing practical scenarios. Along with final plans etc.

Due to the financial commitment by the Club, regrettably we can't offer refunds for cancellations unless the place can be otherwise sold.

Club coaches / leaders & members working towards this can apply for a bursary as club policy on completion of this course.
