A SHEPADDLES Club trip on Friday 4th July will start below Town Falls Llangollen and finish at Ty Mawr. 

This is a female only trip. We hope to be joined by members of Llangollen Canoe Club too who will provide their own female leader for their members.

Anita will lead kayaks on the Club led trip but paddlers who are happy to peer paddle and be responsible for their own safety and decision making on the water are welcome to join but please do still book on as Peer Paddle.

A grade 1-2 section of river with a short section of grade 2+ at Trevor Rapids it is suitable for those with some experience of moving water who wish to further develop and also those more experienced to enjoy a relaxed trip.

Meet at 09:30 at Mill Street Car Park Llangollen. From here we will work out a shuttle to Ty Mawr. Car Park at Mill Street & Ty Mawr are pay & display.  

Please wear clothing suitable for paddling on cold water.

Kit - Kayaks  with air bags, paddle, helmet, spraydeck, buoyancy aid, warm drink, personal first aid kit, snacks (we do not plan to stop for a lunch break but can stop for a quick snack)

You would need to have your own transport for boats and kit. Any junior members booking on must have a parent / guardian at the drop off / pick up points. 

Please note that if river levels are too high then this trip may need to be cancelled at short notice.
