On Saturday 22nd  November we are planning a very short ( around 2 miles in total) dawdle along the Shropshire Union Canal LLangollen Branch. 

This is a Multi Craft Trip which includes a paddle over the Chirk Aqueduct aimed at enjoying the scenery and  company of each other.

Aiming to be on the water around 10:15 am we plan to paddle to Caffi Wylfa and have cake or brunch there, then mooch back.  https://caffiwylfa.com

Meet at the Chirk Bank Canalside Car Park (next to The Poachers) at 09:45 am to unload boats and get changed. This is a small car park so if too many cars we will unload kit here and move cars across to Dobbies car park hotel side.

Please be prepared for potentially very cold / wet weather and have plenty of warm clothes to changed into at the end. Pogies / woolly hats etc recommended.

Boats and kit can be hired from SCC but please make sure this is paid for via the website prior to the trip. If you need help collecting kit from Frankwell please let us know in good time.

If paddling on a paddleboard please bring a helmet to wear when paddling across the aqueduct

Junior Paddlers Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian - either on the water or on the footpath.
