The Quarry Swimming & Fitness Forum represents all users & clubs at the Quarry Centre, with its four pools & other facilities. Since January 2013, it has been campaigning to keep the centre open, after the town's then-MP declared the centre unfit, 'an eyesore', & suggested building a nice 5-star hotel in its place!
Shropshire Council Cabinet is meeting next week to vote on the £29mn necessary to build a new 25m 8-lane pool at Sundorne Sports VIllage ... without a statement on the future of the Quarry.
Dylan is your representative on QSAFF these past dozen years & would like a couple/three people to join him prior to the 09:30 BBC Radio interview, outside the Quarry Centre as a visible sign of support
