This Club & Peer River Trip on Saturday 24 Jan will start below Town Falls Llangollen and finish at Ty Mawr Country Park, 10 km in total.

Leaders will be: Grant McKelvie and Toby Roberts. A grade 2 section of river with a short section of grade 2+ at Trevor Rapids it is suitable for those with some experience of moving water who wish to further develop and also those more experienced to enjoy a relaxed trip.

We will paddle underneath the stunning Pontcysyllte Aqueduct towards the end of our trip. 

Meet at 10:30 at Ty Mawr Lower Car Park and then we'll shuttle up to Mill Street Car Park next to Ponsonby Arms. Car Parks at both Mill Street & Ty Mawr are pay & display. Please note if the bottom car park is closed there will be a moderately long walk from the get out to the car park.

Please wear clothing suitable for paddling on cold water in the winter, with suitable snacks etc.

Kit - boats with air bags, paddle, helmet, spraydeck, bouyancy aid, warm drink.

You would need to have your own transport for boats and kit. Any junior members booking on must have a parent / guardian at the drop off / pick up points. 

Please note that if river levels are too high then this trip may need to be cancelled at short notice.
